Hemitate

Hematite Powder is a weighting material .It is used to increase the density of drilling fluids to control formation pressures having a specific gravity of 4.85 and can be used to increase the density in oil‐and water‐based drilling fluids up to25 lb/gal (3.0 SG). It has a higher specific gravity than barite, and so requires less total product to achieve the same fluid density, but tends to be more abrasive than other weighting materials.

Packaging and Storage

Hematite is packaged in 50‐lb sacks.It is also available in bulk packaging in1000Kg & 1500Kg Jumbo bags.Store in a dry location and minimize dust.
